The Gapo Remote Control Driving Unit Used to Access A Tight Site

Sparrow News

One of our 32tt Self-Erecting Tower Cranes is shown here manoeuvring through a confined space with the help of a Gapo remote control driving unit (blue). We also had a steering axle attached to the opposite axle, which is quite helpful for the increasingly constrained spaces that we encounter nowadays. Additionally, the 32tt was chosen since the contractor wanted to avoid oversailing other homes. As a result, we set the mast height at 19 metres, which enables the crane to be locked off while not in use by the operator.
